TREKKING

  • Always carry maps and available guide books. If not used, keep them in a plastic waterproof bag.
  • Global positioning systems (GPS) are becoming cheaper, and they are very useful at the time of checking your coordinates.
  • A light aluminium water bottle is essential for carrying drinking water.
  • A strong and durable back pack is required. It should be no more than of medium size.
  • Footwear designed specifically for trekking or hiking is best.
  • Wear thick wollen socks or synthetic blend socks.
  • Clothing should be comfortable and breathable.
  • Walking sticks in each hand take a lot of weight off the legs and let you use your arms as an additional pair of legs.

    1. There are many trees. There are many logs. On the water there is a bridge. There are stones in the water and on the floor. It's a great place to go for a walk.
